Dear Parents, This is to inform you that school will be *closed from 20th October 2025 to 27th October 2025* on account of Diwali, Kali Puja, Bhaiphota & Chhat Puja. Warm greetings of the day! Educations comments in the cradle and the parent are the first and most influencer teachers of their ward school can play only the role of second home with its own limitation.

Our school aims at complete education which is now widely term as Good Human making education, we the teachers in the process of molding our child as a good student, diligent industries, self-reliant, resourceful, honest and truthful just and fair in his/her dealing with all ever keeping the joy with others and this aim only be achieved with your whole hearted cooperation and commitment, it is only when parents act according to the rules and regulation of the school.

Dear parents,

Greetings from St.Stephen`s School,Sagardighi!

I on behalf of the School Management, would like to extend my sincere thanks to you all for your trust and good wishes which encourages us. We will try our level best to improve the quality of education as we have been doing since past 51 years. Our main intention is not only to see the students coming out with flying marks in academics but also believe in Holistic education and so we emphasize in sports and other cocurricular activities so that they become good human beings.

In the coming session we have planned to bring some changes in the system to make things better. Few of our plans are, centralized syllabus for all the schools in the St. Stephen's Group of schools. Not only this, we also have decided to make centralized question papers for all the schools in the group. These things will be totally controlled by the central authority, without the influence of any branch. This is to bring uniformity in academics and to see that each child gets what they deserve.

Therefore, we try to create an atmosphere of reverence for education and a healthy environment where academics, sports and co-curricular Facilities mould our students and motivate them to be the brightest and the best. In order to do this, the school works towards inculcating certain values in the students in order to enrich their mind and spirit and also to develop essential moral attributes like truthfulness, courtesy, generosity, compassion, justice, love and trustworthiness in them. The students are taught to study in an atmosphere of love and unity where each student sees himself or herself as a member of one global family.

We look forward to working together to support every child to fulfil the school motto: “Learn, Love and Serve”. Wishing all our children a happy and successful journey of learning.

I reiterate, thanks a lot for all your support, co-operation and trust that not only inspires us but also helps and motivates us to move forward with pride.
